a community project dedicated to promoting rowing as
a social activity  - find out more about us and how to
have some fun in boats in this site!

Do you know someone who would benefit from gaining a Bursary and place on the SSRC two week Oar Building Course at the lyme Regis Boat Building Academy? If they are living in the locality and disadvantaged this is a fantastic opportunity to gain new skills. See the News Page for further details.

Name our new Pilot Gig!

Are you at school in the local area? SSRC is inviting all schoolchildren to take part in a competition to name our new Gig which is now being built in Cornwall - follow the link to the Blog on this page for more details. Download more information and a plan of the Gig, print it off, colour it in and add your chosen name then hand in to your school. You could win a certificate! All entries to be submitted by the 29th February.

SSRC host the excellent Time and Tide's production of 
Who's Afeared at Harman's Cross Village Hall on Saturday 18th February -

Swanage Sea Rowing Club Royal Jubilee Pageant Success! 

 SSRC has been awarded three places for gigs in the Royal Pageant on the Thames on the 3rd June when
around 1000 craft will follow the Queen's barge down the Thames. More information on the event is on our
news page, and further details of partcipation for SSRC members posted shortly. However, this does mean that.....

Swanage Sea Rowing Club Regatta cancelled!

The participation in the Royal Pageant will prevent our gigs being in Swanage for the Regatta on the 2nd June.
We will announce a new date subject to CPGA confirmation as soon as possible.
