Fron April 15th 2013 Mondays at 6 o'clock at the Gigshed
|
Swanage Sea Ro wing Club has a strong junior section where young people can be introduced to rowing in safe conditions in Swanage Bay. Juniors row standard gigs with a set of junior oars, should wear suitable clothing and must wear a lifejacket provided by the Club. Guidance and instruction are given with an experienced coxswain to encourage children to manage a gig and row with confidence. Rowing takes place on Mondays at 6pm and parents should support their children from the shore during the session - rowing, weather and tides are variable and it may be necessary to end a session early. Parents must sign a disclaimer form for their children, who can row three times before they decide to join - see our Membership page for more details.
